Out and About in East (and North) Yorkshire

It’s just over two months since we’ve moved to Sherburn, a small village between Malton and Scarborough, and I thought I’d better post the first Blog entry of 2023, as the site approaches 800,000 visitors. Once we’re properly settled in with furniture arrivals, etc, I’ll get round to doing a post specifically about the house and village but, in the meantime, here’s a photo filled entry showing the trips out we’ve had in the area.

As you’ll see, we’ve spent quite a bit of time at the seaside – the coast is so different from Lancashire and we’re really enjoying being amongst cliffs and sandy beaches. Feel free to name the places we’ve been to in the comments below and check back soon for a tour of our new house.
