Welcome to a new style of Blog

Having sold Absinthe earlier this year, we’d been wondering whether to bother with the Blog, but after loads of fantastic walks and trips to our Static van in beautiful South Shropshire, we decided on a new name and a new direction.

I won’t promise to cover every walk we do, but the interesting ones will be here. Don’t expect detailed routes and serious hiking – my osteoarthritis won’t cope with that, but we do have access to some beautiful parts of the UK and I’ll be including lots of photos as usual, for me to look back on during the black dog days of winter.

Ralf will feature, of course, and, as ever, my soul mate will be there too. We’re off to Ardnamurchan next weekend, so look out for a Blog soon after.

Well I for one am looking forward to this new chapter in your meanderings, not least Ardnamurchan, because I am a lover of this area and recently visited as you know. Keep ’em coming, Martin. I look forward to more on Muddy hair and Grey Boots!

I’ll bet there’s an anagram in there somewhere.

Hmmm. I wonder. I’ve obviously done something when I’ve been tinkering. Must replace the Fisher Price PC…

    Hey guys,
Good luck with the new adventures and the direction you are taking the blog, I’ll look forward to seeing it progress! Britain has some lovely scenery and places to visit, here in Notts we have some beautiful areas of woodland to explore.
