Long Itchington, Warwickshire, UK

24th September 2011
We managed a weekend away to Long Itchington near Leamington Spa on 24th September, staying behind the Green Man Pub.
Why Long Itchington? Because it’s the real ale capital of England with 6 real ale pubs in one village, two of them adjacent to the Grand Union canal.
We managed to visit 4 of them and had a briliant meal at the  Buck & Bell to round the night off. Very busy on a Saturday night but well worth it.
A top weekend which included a trip to see Alison’s brother and family at Dunton Bassett near Lutterworth. There are some photos on Flickr: http://www.flickr.com/photos/29040718@N08/sets/72157627774340984/
Wonder how many more trips we can fit in before winter arrives…

I'd love to hear your thoughts, so grab a pew and I'll make you a brew - Hobnob or Bourbon?
